John joined Grand Metropolitan Hotels in 1972, in Edinburgh, on their trainee management programme. His career took him to be Operations Director in Just Deli Ltd., Director of Catering at OCS Group Ltd and Director of Operations at Thomas Franks Ltd.  John joined Mike Pooleman and Oliver Parker in April 2013 as a consultant and is a shareholder.
