RM&C Consultants offers you a unique service. Completely independent, our directors have decades of combined experience in the contracting industry to provide you with expert advice.

Our experience includes working for contractors of all sizes, from the smallest local firms to the largest national operators. Our team uses each other's individual strengths to give you, our valued client, the best possible overall advice and support.

David Allen, Managing Director

David joined RM&C in 2016 and now proudly runs the business as our Managing Director.

He has a background in senior leadership roles for some of the leading catering and FM businesses in the UK.

Sue Allen, Director

Sue lives and breathes contract catering. With over four decades of experience, Sue knows everything there is to know.

Sue joined RM&C in 2019 after almost 20 years working the other side of the table so knows exactly what our clients need.

Tim Allen, Director

Tim joined RM&C in 2024 after shadowing our team for the previous twelve months. He brings a fresh perspective and is highly motivated to help develop our services.

Tim has a background in sales based roles and has worked in the kitchen at Raymond Blanc's 2 Michelin star restaurant, Le Manoir.

Oliver Parker, Director

Oliver joined RM&C in 2003 alongside our founder, Mike Pooleman, and has been a key member of our team ever since.

Oliver continues to provide insight from his incredible career in the catering industry which includes running the catering service at Gatwick Airport, 10 Downing Street & HMS Belfast.

John Ashton, Associate Consultant

John is our Facilities Management expert, with over 30 years experience working across a vast range of sectors including education, construction and commercial.

John has had an impressive career working for leading institutions. With his years of experience, we can provide all the support our clients need.

Office Team

Our office team are the backbone of RM&C, supported by our ferocious guard dog, Finley. They keep the business running smoothly and play a key role in the personal service we offer our clients.
